THE STORY OF TPBYTHEPOUNDLLC

We are a small business that started off just baking desserts for family and functions. Being no stranger in the kitchen, it felt right to begin a business cooking/baking desserts. However, Portia had some doubts about her ability to deliver quality items to customers. One day, while preparing to attend a gathering at a friends house, Portia and Terrance were asked to bring a dessert to the gathering. Portia still had the task of getting their daughter ready to leave home, in addition to, preparing the dessert. In an effort to save time, Terrance volunteered to make the dessert by taking careful direction from Portia to make a lemon pound cake. Terrance took pictures of the cake that he made and took samples to co-workers, resulting in the start of TP by The Pound.
